Visual resolution and definition of led walls
The definition of led walls is given by the distance between the diodes or pixels, or their pitch or spacing. The closer the pixels are, the higher the definition, the better you will be able to see the screen closely and the less it will be necessary to increase the screen size to gain quality. MacroPix designs, supplies and certifies models ranging from 0.7 mm pixel pitch for indoor to 50 mm or larger pixel pitch for outdoor. The most popular models of led screens are 1.9 mm, 2.6 mm and 3.9 mm for indoor and 4.8 mm, 6.67 mm and 10 mm for outdoor, but there are many other solutions available. The trend in the market is to go for narrower and narrower pixel pitches, so 1.2 and 1.5 mm for indoor and 2.6, 3.1 and 3.9 mm mm for outdoor have been already installed successfully and more will be coming soon.
